I am a big fan of Iron Age. We have been coming here ever since we moved to Woodstock back in 2018. We like them more for lunch than dinner since we like very few things from the dinner menu other than shrimp. Lunch is only served Monday through Thursday from open to 2:30 PM.

Coming from the standards of korean bbq in Koreatown in Los Angeles, CA, Iron Age is a great kbbq that offers a relatively smaller variety of meats but excels in the ones it does have. Korean bbq is a generous style of bbq buffet where you sit at a table with an integrated grille, choose your meats from your server, and then cook it yourself. Dinner is $29/person with kids 4-7 at $14/person. There is a 2 hour limit but you'll be full in no time with how much food comes you way. There is meat, rice, soup, salad, and dipping sauces available. The standouts were the beef bulgogi and Iron Age soy beef steak. The steak itself is a great cut and tasted very good.

Had a good time and enjoyed everything but the squid... possibly because I don't care for squid. Had good service and a fun time celebrating my friends birthday.

This place is a great place to go with your K-pop fan. The entertainment of making your own food and the sauces is rather entertaining in itself. It is a little expensive but for a special night it is great

We enjoyed the lunch portion for $22 per person. The highlights were the bulgogi and the sauces. The pork didn't have much marinated flavor, but paired with chili or salt sauces did taste good. The salad, soup, and kimchi were the favorite appetizers. Along with the tteokbokk noodles. The ambience is dark, however the service was attentive.

This place is such a cool and reasonably priced experience! You choose your meat and they bring it to you seasoned so you can cook it at the table yourself on the grill in the middle of the table. It makes for a very intricate experience and a great talking piece of you're on a date or with friends and family! We had great service. Our server always came by to make sure we understood how to cook our food and she also cut up our meats whenever we wanted help. To top off a great experience, all of the food was DELICIOUS AND FLAVORFUL!

I was here 2 months ago. So who knows how it is. Service.. great!! The Korean guy who was helping us was awesome!! Food.. decent. Atmosphere.. dark.. I came to this place when it was some other Korean place buffet. So I know it's different from back when. I don't know. I'm okay with this place and I'll likely go back. I pick this over HQ 100%

Arrived at 9. There was an hour wait even though we booked in advance. At least 50% of your party must be there when you are able to sit. Service was great, attentive, knowledgeable, fast. This is a cook your own meat type of place! Which was very cool learning the different meats available! One of my guest was knowledgeable about this style of dinning so she asked for our veggies , rice cakes , rice etc, it comes with the meal but only if you request it! Veggie mix-mushrooms,red pepper, onions, green peppers Rice(just white, steamed) Rice cake with some kind of sauce, Kimchi, a side salad and an array of different sauces to try. A soup of your choice All of the food is DELICIOUS! All the drinks were good that we tried, table favorite was the strawberry Hennessy margarita! Meats we tried: Steak, shrimp(shelled) , lemon garlic chicken, spicy chicken, bulgogi(shredded steak). Once you get the hang of how to cook it , it's fun, a conversation starter. I would recommend this place for the tictoc lovers like my daughter! Couples, families who like to try different things .There's K-pop music and videos in the background. It's very dim inside the restaurant so it sets a romantic mood. Or just for an outing to eat and relax. If i could give it 10 stars i would!

I came here on a Sunday night around 10pm. We were seated quickly; the vibe is low light and casual and not too loud. We were a bit confused by the service style because the servers kept changing, so it took a while for us to get refills but everyone seemed nice and helpful. The food was delicious!! Can't recommend enough the beef bulgogi, a sweet thin beef. It was $29.99 a person (reminder prices are subject to change, it was that price on this day at this time) which we thought was very fair and reasonable especially for all you can get! While you do cook your own food, which is in my opinion the best part other than eating it, you should still tip the amazing wait staff!!! We highly recommend Iron Age Korean Steak House! Other things to know: Last seating is at 11pm, Last call is at 11:30 pm (they close at 12am/midnight).

Iron Age was a really solid experience and I'm glad I got to try it. I had never been to KBBQ before but a friend kept telling me how good it was so I had to give it a try. The ambiance was great. It's super dark but there's an intimate feel. I honestly thought it would be a bother to have to cook my own food but it was pretty fun. It was also very clean which is a must for cooking your own food. The service was also great. The staff consistently comes around to ensure you always have meat to cook and anything else you could want. The food was overall pretty good. I really enjoyed the salad (the dressing was amazing), dipping options, and most of the meats. I was a little disappointed to hear they didn't have the brisket option at that location and one other meat my friend was looking for but we still really enjoyed some beef bulgogi and the steak options. The price was a little steep ($29 without a lunch special), but understandable given it's all you can eat and the food is pretty high quality. If there's ever another occasion to head back to get some Korean Barbecue I'll certainly consider giving Iron Age a visit!
